Dr Achadu Felicitates C'River COS, Ironbar, Over Birthday Anniversary

 Cross River State House of Assembly member, Honourable Dr Martins Achadu has congratulated the Chief of Staff (COS) to the Governor of Cross River State, Hon Emmanuel Ironbar on the occasion of his birthday as he eulogised him for providing a smooth drive in the actualisation of the People First agenda of His Excellency.

Dr Achadu, Yala 11 State Assembly Representative said this in a congratulatory message issued on Friday in Calabar. "Hon Ironbar has consistently exhibited outstanding capacity, efficiency and professionalism in the execution of his responsibilities as Chief of Staff in about two years of this administration".


He described the Chief of Staff  as a trusted ally and a pillar of grassroots support to His Excellency given that he is known for  hard work, loyalty and sincerity to the people. He also praised honourable Ironbar's integrity and commitment as he addressed him as a distinguished public servant whose value to the people of Cross River State is visible.


According to the House Committee Chairman on Education," the Chief of Staff contributions to Cross River State development under Governor Otu has been remarkable and this  is greatly attributed to his selflessness, strong moral compass and dedication to public service" he said.


Dr Achadu however prayed to God to continue to strengthen  and anoint the Chief of Staff in years ahead.

Teenager Commits Suicide Over Poor JAMB Scores

  19-year-old, Opesusi Faith Timilehin, has taken her own life in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after scoring 190 in 2025 UTME. Faith Timilehin took her own life in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State on Monday The Deceased Teenager  The teenager, originally from Abeokuta, had been living with her elder sister in Ikorodu. According to family and neighbours, Timilehin was a calm and respectful young woman with high academic hopes. She had applied to study Microbiology and was deeply disappointed by her score of 190, which she considered lower than her 2024 result. “She said her last year’s result was better than this year’s,” a close friend told News Central on the phone.
