Dr Martins Achadu , Yala 11 State Constituency Representative and Hon Dr Hippolatus Lukpata Commissioner For International Donor Coordination in Cross River State synergise together to undertake a peace initiative in Ujama and Benekaba Communities in South Ukelle, Yala Local Government Area.

Ukelle Leaders In Close Shades With Community Leaders 
The duo who have maintained a steady path to peace and progress in Ukelle since the advent of Governor Otu's administration have often led the path to growth through peace and reawakening of cultural affinity events in Yala 11 Constituency.

Both Ukelle leaders in separate meetings with Chief, Youths and Women of Ujama community and Benekaba Communities urged them  to embrace a peaceful approach to issues relating to farmlands in order to foster progress given the sprawling agriculture in both areas.

They stressed that the path of peaceful approach to discord about land issue remains the only harbinger of hope that could enhance the agro value chain synonymous with the agrarian area. The meeting is not only strategic but a more compelling way to enhance development through peace in both communities.

Teenager Commits Suicide Over Poor JAMB Scores

  19-year-old, Opesusi Faith Timilehin, has taken her own life in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after scoring 190 in 2025 UTME. Faith Timilehin took her own life in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State on Monday The Deceased Teenager  The teenager, originally from Abeokuta, had been living with her elder sister in Ikorodu. According to family and neighbours, Timilehin was a calm and respectful young woman with high academic hopes. She had applied to study Microbiology and was deeply disappointed by her score of 190, which she considered lower than her 2024 result. “She said her last year’s result was better than this year’s,” a close friend told News Central on the phone.
