C'River Assembly Members; Dr Achadu, Abem, Aruku Visit North Ukelle Road Project Site

Yala 11 State Constituency Representative, Hon Dr Martins Achadu  in an oversight visit as Cross River State House of Assembly  Committee on Works led  by its Chairman, Hon  Agbe Abem  and Engr  Thomas Aruku visited Ukelle Road Project site.

The legislative oversight within the week was to ascertain the level of work being done at the 5KM North Ukelle Road Project which stretches from Apata to Capital Hill in Wanokom, North Ukelle.

While on the inspection, the committee expressed delight at the level of work being done so far especially the drainages and chains of standard culverts under construction. The committee believes the contractor, Dr Ochim Julius Okputu is poised to deliver the road in line with His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Otu's administration's effort towards giving succour to the Ukelle people in bumpy areas such as the areas captured for construction.

Recall that the Governor of Cross River State earmarked 5KM stretch to be constructed in Phase 1 of the administration's intervention in critical infrastructure that would increase the productivity level of the people in Yahe-Ebo -Ezekwe-Wanokom-Wanikade -Wanihem Road.

In an exclusive chat with the media, Dr Martins Achadu emphasised that as a representative of the people, he is in constant touch at site especially through synergy with the contractor for positive development on the road.
