Brian Odey Calls on Yala LG Electorates to Support Hon Fred Okem as C'River APC flags-off LG Election Campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has flagged-off its Chairmanship and Councillorship Campaign at Ikom Township Stadium, Ikom LGA, just as Hon Brian Odey representing Yala 1 State Constituency has called on Yala sons and daughters to support the APC Chairmanship candidate, Hon Fred Okem and his Vice, Chief Godwin Odama with a promise for an all inclusive and open door, people-oriented governance when elected.

The event was held at the Ikom Football Stadium, Ikom Township, Ikom LGA of Cross River State.

Brian who expressed his appreciation to party leaders and supporters for their support towards the emergence of Okem and Odama as the party candidates during the primaries, pledged a new dawn for Yala Local Government Area.




“I want to assure every stakeholders at this flag-off be it the youths, women, traders, artisans, businessmen and women of a purposeful and an inclusive governance that will benefit us all.

“In line with our Governor’s "First People Mantra" and vision for a transformed, developed state, Hon Okem will run an open door administration to bring about a new dawn for our council.


“This is a duty we cannot do alone that’s why we are soliciting for your votes during the election to give us the mandate and collectively we can transform and develop our council,” he said.


Hon. Brian urged supporters of the party to spread their tentacles to all nooks and crannies of Yala LGA to canvass for votes to ensure the overwhelming victory of APC in the forthcoming local government elections slated for November 2, 2024.


The event witnessed the presence of the Eighteen (18) APC Chairmanship candidates and One Hundred and Ninety Six (196) Councillorship candidates across the State. It also attracted party leaders, critical stakeholders and supporters in the state.
