As Dr Julius Okputu Joins Cross River State Representative Members of 2023 Presidential Campaign Council For A Parley With President Bola Ahmed Tinubu


Ukelle First Son, Dr Julius Okputu on Monday joined other representatives of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for a meeting with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It marks another chapter for the experienced politician and administrator whose reforms as chairman state planning commission and commissioner for environment is a visible blueprint in the state.

Dr Okputu is a potential export to national politics from the state. Joining other top functionaries of All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council from Cross River and across the country in a meeting with the president underlines his value addition whenever the political climate is evenly poised for him to display his capabilities.

During the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, he acted as Deputy Director of the Committee on Grassroot Engagement and Orientation for the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the South-South Geo-Political Zone.

Dr Okputu's a wealth of experience in grassroots mobilization strategically aligns with the 2023 APC presidential campaign council's objectives. It further places him as one of the brains in Cross River State who has the right mentality towards mobilisation and leadership.

  19-year-old, Opesusi Faith Timilehin, has taken her own life in Ikorodu, Lagos State, after scoring 190 in 2025 UTME. Faith Timilehin took her own life in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State on Monday The Deceased Teenager  The teenager, originally from Abeokuta, had been living with her elder sister in Ikorodu. According to family and neighbours, Timilehin was a calm and respectful young woman with high academic hopes. She had applied to study Microbiology and was deeply disappointed by her score of 190, which she considered lower than her 2024 result. “She said her last year’s result was better than this year’s,” a close friend told News Central on the phone.
