Unical Don Identifies Fossil Fuel As Bane of Nigeria's Environmental Pollution
The Inaugural Lecturer Receiving a Memento From DVC Administration, Prof Grace E. Nta Prof Ayi Anyama, the 112th Inaugural Lecturer of the University of Calabar, has identified over dependence on fossil fuel as as one of the problems plaguing environmental pollution in Nigeria. Prof Ayi who is the Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences in the university stated this recently while delivering the 112th Inaugural lecture at the institution's International Conference Center. The lecture entitled, ''Metal-Organic Frameworks as Panacea for Global Energy and Environmental Pollution Problems'', underpinned recklessness in the use of fossil fuel which has brought about environmental problems the constant threat of global warming in particular.
